Storyline

Plot Summary:

This action film, directed by Pierre Morel (Taken), concerns young CIA agent James Reece (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers) who has a cushy day job but dreams of an exciting life in the field. When the agency offers him his first big-time assignment, James must team with crazed lone wolf Charlie Wax (John Travolta) to stop a terrorist bombing plot. Although James is initially in way over his head, he soon realizes that he needs to trust Charlie if he wants to live his dream and save his own life, because the bad guys not only want to cause damage to the city, but want James killed.

I just watched "Pulp Fiction" before viewing this movie. All I can say is, "Dammit, how the mighty have fallen". I mean, is Travolta so hard up he has to settle for a turd script like this? But, maybe this is just how our good buddies the French think of us. No big surprise there. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Travolta's. But seriously, how can the same guy that starred in "Pulp Fiction", "Micheal", and countless other great films get talked into this abortion? Star power can't save this one. No matter how hard you try, you can't polish a turd. I'm no movie critic. Just a normal movie lover and this plain ole SUCKED. Peace, Y'all.
