A couple, Sudheer and Rani, are traveling in a car on a deserted road. Suddenly the car conks out. They notice a hotel in the distance. Once they are checked into the hotel, the staff offers Sudheer a car to drive to a nearby village where he can get a mechanic. But, they tell him that he cannot take his wife along with him. Sudheer gets irritated and asks them to get out. And soon, both hear some weird sounds from the next room. But, to their surprise that adjacent room is locked. Sudheer slowly starts realizing that he and Rani are getting more and more trapped in a do-or-die situation.

Rakht Charitra (English: A History of Blood) is a two-part Indian biographical film based on the life of Paritala Ravindra, directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The film features Vivek Oberoi in the role reprising Ravindra, and Surya as Suri, whose part appears predominantly in the second part. Shatrughan Sinha, Abhimanyu Singh, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Sushant Singh, Priyamani and Radhika Apte among others play other supporting roles. The film was shot primarily in Hindi and later dubbed in Telugu and Tamil with the two parts releasing three weeks apart whilst the Tamil version will release as a single part. The first part of the instalment released on October 21, 2010 whilst the second part will release on November 26, 2010 in Telugu. The Hindi version of the second part will be releasing on December 3. The Tamil version will be releasing on November 26. The film is based on the life of Paritala Ravindra, a factionist and political leader from Andhra Pradesh who was assassinated by his rivals in 2005.
