Devolved centers around a group of suburban high-school seniors from San Diego on a whale-watching expedition off the Baja coast of Mexico. When they become shipwrecked on a deserted island, two distinct kid cultures emerge: those who love high school and want it to continue forever, and those who want to escape from the first group as quickly as humanly possible. Caught in the middle are Flynn (Gary Entin of Lionsgate's Seconds Apart), a charming, reserved loner, and Peggy (Lindsey Shaw), an ex-cheerleader turned outsider. Together, they must find a way to keep peace between the two camps long enough to ensure their escape from the island -- and high school itself.
