A disillusioned TV personality accepts a drunken bet that he cannot hitch-hike around the entire circumference of Ireland, accompanied by his fridge. Along the way, he falls in love with a feisty radio reporter, encounters a philosophical toiletries salesman and takes his fridge surfing.
