Arunima the daughter of one of the biggest builders in town has returned home after completing her studies. Devinder Devilal Dua is a gregarious man who loves his daughter a lot and wants his daughter Arunima to live as freely as possible. one day to her surprise, Arunima finds a “will” written by her mother. why would a woman who died in a car accident and that too at an early age of twenty eight, leave a will for Arunima. The presence and the essence of the will raises a few questions in Arunima’s mind. Arunima starts to learn about too many shades of her father that she has never seen. Arunima is at a loss, as everything that she is learning about the past is in complete contradiction to what she knew. Arunima is torn between love for her father and the truth. The shadow of doubt becomes a very difficult place to live under. So Arunima sets out on a journey to find the truth about her mothers and fathers past and more so how her mother died. Tanu Weds Manu movie is a romantic comedy which revolves around two characters Manu and Tanu. Marriages are made in heaven! Though the road to heaven might be a little "tedha". Manu (R.Madhavan) is a guy from Delhi who has been a working as a doctor in London for the past 12 years. He comes down to India to get married because according to his family it is time. Tanu (Kangana Ranaut) is a girl from Kanpur who is done with her studies at Delhi University. She does not want an arranged marriage because she is in love with a guy named Raja (Jimmy Shergill) and wants to marry him. Manu falls in love with Tanu for the first time when he comes to see her in Kanpur. However, she asks him to refuse the marriage proposal and he agrees. Manu goes to see many girls but discovers that Tanu is the only girl he wants. What happens next and whether they end up together makes up the rest of the story!
