Plus Two movie tells the story of five teenagers Prince, Faizal, Sambhu, Mathews and Ranjit (Roshan Prince, Faizal, Sambhu, Mathews and Ranjit) who are students staying in a villa belongs to Prince's father. Prince's parents are in abroad. They had a servant Lalappan to prepare food. His hobby was watching films. One day Meenakshi (Shafna) who is a teenage girl came to their house with her mother. She arrived city in search of her elder sister Parvathy, who left house with her boyfriend some years back. The address they kept was of this villa. They could see only these boys instead of her sister. The condition of the girl and mother was pathetic. They had none for their help. They lost house after it was pledged. Her mother was a patient. Understading the situation, Prince gave shelter to them at the villa. One day Meenakshi's mother died leaving her alone with these boys.

Lal Jose is ready with his latest film Elsamma Enna Aankutty. The film tells the tale of a small village called 'Balan Pillai City' which wakes up every morning with the arrival of Elsamma, the paper girl and Palunni the milk boy. Ann, actor Augustine's daughter makes her acting debut as Elsamma in the film. She has two heroes in the film - Kunchacko Boban and Indrajith. The last time Lal Jose had joined hands with script writer Sindhuraj was for the Dileep starrer 'Mulla'. Lal Jose says that he is looking forward to meeting the challenges of yet another interesting story to match up to the audience's expectations. The cast also include other prominent actors as Jagathy Sreekumar, Nedumudi Venu, Janardhanan, Vijayaraghavan, Suraj Venjarammoodu, KPAC Lalitha, Seema G Nair, Manikandan, Manikkuttan and Maniyanpillai Raju. Rajamani has composed the music for the film while the lyrics have been written Rafeeq Ahmad. Vijay Yesudas, Swetha, Devanand, Achu Rajamani, Rimi Tomy, Sithara Balakrishnan and Reshmi have sung the songs of the film. 'Elsamma Enna Ankutty' is being produced by Ranjith under the banner of Rejaputhra Visual Media.

'Malarvadi Arts Club' that marks the directorial debut of actor-singer Vineeth Sreenivasan. The pooja ceremony of the film that was held at BTH Sarovaram was attended by several prominent film personalities. Actor Sreenivasan was beaming with pride when he said that he was often asked if Vineeth would become more famous than him. Sreenivasan said that Vineeth's aims should even be higher than that. Megastar Mammootty described Vineeth as an individual who held high promise. He also said that the arts and sports club movement holds a nostalgic place in the hearts of people belonging to an older generation. Vineeth said that the film has been set in a village called Manassery and tells the story of five friends who run the Malarvadi Arts Club. Vineeth also said that it has taken him about one and a half years to complete the script. The film would have five new male faces along with two fresh female faces. Jagathy Sreelumar, Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Salim Kumar and Suraj Venjarammoodu form the supporting cast. 'Malarvadi Arts Club' is being produced by actor Dileep under the banner of Grand Productions. Malarvadi Arts Club tells the story of five friends in a village called Manassery in North Malabar. Having completed their studies and in the lookout for a job, they have no other place for a hangout than their old children's club. The Club is facing destruction as the new generation is showing no interest in its activities. The five some decides to somehow run the Club and organize better activities with the help of the local men. Malarvadi Arts Club follows the hilarious attempts of the friends to establish themselves and their club in the village.
